#03: Tagging plans

Which plans matter to the metalworker? One click and they are all there.

When the metalworker arrives on site, they need exactly the plans that concern them: railing details, fall protection, stair railings, handrails. No more, no less.

Normally that means: the site manager collects the relevant plans, puts them in an email, and hopes nothing is missing and that it really is the current revision. There is no system. And no clarity.

With tags it works differently

In PLANFRED, plans can be marked with freely defined keywords. When uploading, the site manager simply assigns the tag “Metalworker.” For the railing detail, the fall protection on the roof terrace, the handrail. Everything that concerns them. That takes one click per plan.

When the metalworker needs their documents, they filter by their tag in PLANFRED and immediately see every relevant plan. Always the latest revisions, clearly listed. No searching, no asking around, no outdated plan status.

The principle works for every trade. “Electrician,” “Tiler,” “HVAC.” Tags can be defined freely and combined however you like. Together with the filters for role, plan folder, and design phase, everyone involved finds exactly what they need in seconds.

A set of plans that does not have to be searched. But gets found.
