SAN Group builds "green" Biotech Park
The new company location of the SAN Group is being built in Herzogenburg, Lower Austria. Space for offices, administration, laboratory and research facilities is being built on a total of approx. 12,000 m² of gross floor area.

The ARGE SWAP Architektur - iC consulenten was able to convince with its design. The first part, the commercial and research building with a gross floor area of approximately 3,500 m², will be opened and put into operation as early as August 2022. The second phase comprises the main building including underground parking and is scheduled for completion at the end of 2023 and will provide space for around 180 employees.
The company's overarching sustainability strategy is evident in all areas of the project, from the selection of ecological insulating materials to the use of waste heat from the production of green hydrogen for heating and hot water generation.
